About the Event
Join us on Sunday, October 19, for a vibrant afternoon of traditional Finnish music with Kermit and Alexandra Conover Bennett.
Alexandra has been a key presence at the Finn Hall in Monson, Maine since the late 1990s. Her accordion repertoire was shaped by the memorable playing of Jorma Ranta and Veikko Honkala, and she further expanded her knowledge while studying at the Folk Music Institute in Kaustinen, Finland, as well as learning from accomplished Finnish folk artists.
Kermit adds his lively touch on mandolin and guitar, bringing warmth and enthusiasm to every performance. Together, the Bennetts share a deep love for Finnish folk music and a dedication to keeping these traditions alive in the community.
Come and enjoy an afternoon filled with music, heritage, and fellowship—an event not to be missed!
